Every year, MIU gives students opportunities to go to MIU affiliated universities in South Korea as exchange students. It is a great opportunity to experience new culture, learn its language and make foreign friends. Moreover, students can experience and learn how the students of other countries study and build international network. The numbers of students and the universities have been increasing every year.
The Exchange student Program committee interviews the candidates and finalize the exchange students name list.
MIU’s Summer Program is open every year from July to August. This Summer Program provides a great opportunity for students to experience Mongolia and learn English during summer break. We invite foreign professors from countries such as Korea and the United States. The goal of this summer program is to support university students who have interrelationships with MIU, and also Diaspora Mongolians who are spread around the world.
A preview of programs for 2008
1. English course - From this program, students can learn and practice English. It is organized by the Language Education Institute of MIU.
2. Summer courses - Intensive courses from five major departments are offered to those students who want to join this program. These courses are taught by professors from Korea, the United States, Germany and Australia. The five major departments are International Business Management, Information Technology, Biotechnology and Food Science, Teaching English to speakers of Other Language (TESOL) and Fashion Design. It is a great opportunity for students to learn and have a chance to practice English.
3. MIU International Program - Students from different countries are gathered together in order to share their experiences and visions.
4. Experience of local culture - From this program you can experience Nomadic customs and understand Nomadic life of Mongolians.
