Application for Master¡¯s program
The TESOL Program is intended to enhance students¡¯ understanding of both English and non-English-speaking cultures through various modes of interpretation and expression. The program also gives students the opportunity to examine their own language and culture through interaction with students from other cultures, allowing students to develop their expertise in teaching English. Our program is designed to prepare TESOL specialists for the elementary, secondary, or college levels.

1. Materials Use and Development: Seo Eun-mi: July 19-30
2. History of English: Todd Terhune: July 19-23, August 2-6
3. Language and Culture: Tammy Park: July 26 - August 6
Candidates must have a bachelor degree regardless of Major.
Submitted application must include:
1. Completed Admission Application Form
2. Certificate of Bachelor Degree
3. Official copy of undergraduate transcript
4. Statement of Purpose (in English)
5. TOEFL, TOEIC, or TEPS exam Score within 3 years of application date
6. A Resume attached with a photo (in English)
7. Four 3X4 Photographs
8. 2 Letters of Recommendation (in English)
9. HIV/AIDS test result (only for international students)
10-1. A copy of Valid Passport (only for international students)
10-2. A copy of the Identification Card (for Mongolian students)
Multiple criteria are used to determine applicant eligibility, including a baseline undergraduate grade-point average.
1. Interview and the Statement of Purpose
2. Undergraduate GPA
3. TOEFL, TOEIC, or TEPS Score
- A score of 600 or higher on the TEPS
- A score of 500(PBT) or 80(IBT) higher on the TOEFL
- A Score of 725 or higher on the TOEIC
Test results may be submitted after registration.
Result Validity: 3 years
1. 15,000TG for International Students
+ Visa process fees charged to International Students
2. 15,000TG for Domestic Students
The application fee is nonrefundable and does not apply toward registration fees.
The application fee is subject to change every year.
Admission to the master¡¯s programs in Mongolia International University is possible for any term (fall, spring or summer). If the deadline falls on a weekend or university holiday, applications and materials will be accepted until the next workday following the deadline. To be guaranteed a decision for the desired term of entry, applications and all supporting documents must be received by these deadlines.
According to the Academic Schedule, the deadlines are subject to change and will be announced through Mongolia International University Website ever year.
5-1. February 20th for Spring Semester
5-2. July 14th for Summer Intensive Course
5-2. August 25th for Fall Semester
All the applicants should apply before application deadlines. No application will be accepted after the deadline.
July 16th for summer Intensive Course
